The Evening College is designed for Interns/Students and students who want to be equipped for long-term ministry. Interns/Students and students desiring to pursue a vocation in ministry will find this as a great option to receive the knowledge and training necessary for longevity and direction in ministry. The classes and hands-on training are structured to equip Interns/Students for ministry by offering: Bible classes, ministry driven classes, and hands-on ministry experience. Interns/Students and students can receive an accredited Associate degree in two years and Bachelor degree in four years, all while mostly only attending classes on Tuesday nights and Saturday Seminars. Interns/Students will have access to assimilation and placement beyond Elim upon the completion of the Evening College, and have the opportunity to receive hands-on ministry and training from leaders, missionaries and pastors with years of experience.
Requirements each year may include any and all of the following: For each requirement below the intern will earn points towards their GPA.
Attendance Requirements:
- Attend Elim classes from 6:00 pm - 9:15 pm on Tuesdays from September to June
- Only two classes may be missed per Course to graduate (no exceptions)
- Arriving late once and leaving early once is equivalent to one absence
- The following holidays will be provided: one Tuesday off for Thanksgiving holidays, and three weeks off for Christmas holidays

Course Requirements:
- Complete all assignments for courses by the deadline stated in the course syllabus = 6 courses
- 1 course = 12 class lectures, 2 required book readings, Final paper, and Final Test (for the most part)
- The course assignments will vary from course to course
- Interns/Students will read through the entire Bible in the first term as part of the requirements for: Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, and Gospels: Life of Christ

Pastoral Interns Requirements:
150 hours of interning in a specific ministry or campus of Elim Community Church (after the completion of two years, 300 hours, Interns/Students will receive 9 credit hours)
- Interns/Students will turn in a Timesheet log at the end of each Trimester signed by their Ministry Supervisor
- Interns/Students must meet with their Intern Supervisor once a Trimester to access their ministry experience, leadership and spiritual growth, and to set new goals for the next Trimester
- As outreaches, events and ministry needs come up Interns/Students may be asked to serve as a whole and may use this time for their intern hours
Program Requirements for Elim World Ministry Students:
- Attend all required ECC events and outreaches (if required may use for intern hours)
- Attend all Interns/Studentship meetings on Sunday morning, and be punctual.
- Meet with the Senior Pastor of ECC on a monthly base for encouragement, edification and exhortation.
- Complete and turn in personal evaluations and ministry reports once a Trimester
- Make Elim CC schedule a priority in your schedule
- Interns/Students will need to contact the Program Director by phone when they will miss or are running late for a class, service, or outreach, and their Intern Supervisor if missing regularly scheduled intern hours
- Absences, sickness, emergencies, and vacations are understood, but it is important for Interns/Students to make every attempt to be at required classes, services, and activities
- Be on time for everything (meaning at least 10 to 15 minutes early)

Course Requirements:
Interns/Students will take the BBKE, Basic Bible Knowledge Exam, in the first Trimester of their second year enrolled. This exam is composed of basic Old Testament and New Testament questions. Students will have two (2) hours to complete the exam and must make at least a 90% in order to test out of fifteen (15) credit hours.
The Student may only take the exam once. If the Student fails to make at least a 90%, based on their score, the Student will have to take an Independent Study course/s in order to make up the credit hours to complete their degree.
