The Bible says in Acts that the early church gathered together to break bread faithfully and since that ti
me food has been an integral part of any church. Elim has a tradition that we have followed since 1994.
Every month, we get together as a family and break bread...and chips, chili, lasagne, desserts, salads, burgers, hotdogs and just about anything else we can eat! We call this monthly food-fest "Family Fellowship" and we love to have our visitors stay and eat with us. The best part is, you don't have to brng anything but yourselves!
In the winter months, we have our "Cook-Offs" that usually turn out pretty well for everybody because we have so many great things to try.There is usually much fan-fare for the winners of the cook-offs and everyone has a great time. Other months we will BBQ and some months will have themes such as:
